Better Together Charter Holder, Connaught Partnerships Ltd working with William Sutton Homes in Barne Barton, recently hosted a money-raising brew-up for tenants as part of the company's support for the Macmillan Cancer Support Annual Coffee Morning fundraiser.
The Plymouth event was one of 50 held by Connaught around the country which contributed over £10,000 for the Macmillan fund. Alison Essery, National Events Coordinator for Macmillan Cancer Support, said: "We are very grateful to Connaught for all their hard work for Macmillan£s World£s Biggest Coffee Morning. It is great that Connaught managed to get so many people involved in making their cup of coffee count. They have proved that everybody can get involved in such an easy event and every penny raised will be used to help make a dramatic difference to the lives of thousands of people."
As well as providing refreshments for the events, Connaught also pledged to donate 50p for every customer satisfaction survey completed whilst there.
